It appears that Lenovo have themselves a new ultralight X300 series Thinkpad—and outside of the price and release date, we have all of the specs that you need to know. At a glance, some of the major features include: a 13.3-inch LED backlit 1440X900 screen, an ultralight 2.5 pound form factor, and Intel Merom Santa Rosa Dual Core CPU (2.0 Ghz / 880 Mhz ), a 64 GB SSD, up to 4GB of DDR2 PC2-5300 memory, and 4 hours of battery life.

I want SSD, but the size and especially the price is too high, i wont broke my wallet for that =) maybe i better wait for a moment and hope it will more affordable
Good Review i have been thinking about getting one but one thing stopping me low GB onley 150 GB they go up to and i use lots more than that but one day you will get like one TB ssd then i will get one
I’d get an SSD but it would would be a low priority to get because I have tons of hardware in need to get first like a new video card and cpu cooler. What do you recommend for a Phenom II 720 BE?
@detroid89 Take into consideration the hours of worktime involved not just to shoot the reviews and edit them. He does have to build all the rigs and do the testing, and imagine the QQ if he doesn’t release a new vid in say, 2 or even 3 weeks. It’s a Democles’ sword, this. He may get tons of fun hardware to test, but from what I can guess, very little time to actually use it. That’s what I’m guessing, at least.
@dmagdaleno WOW really, holy shit we’ve come a long way in 25 years! and that like 1000 dollars today! But i still think its way to much for only 64GB of storage
@Xterminatorbond – I remember when I spent $400.00 for a 40MB hard drive (RLL or was it MFM?), AND it had a TON of bad sectors etc. THis was 1985 though, a bit of perspective. $250 IS NOTHING, believe me.
It’s nice to see a reviewer out there that communicates with it’s viewers. This SSD is nuts, and I wish I could get one. I will be looking at the newer Intel entry-level model they go for about $100.
Would you recommend using a 120 gb ssd drive or a 1 tb regular drive? It’s mostly for the speed

@secretbadger2 Go for it my friend just swap the hard drive and install the SSD ;) no risk of damage or failure.
Far to much for the size of it bring the price down and i would get some … but far too much for what they are .
nice drive

Ahhr this hurts! Especially when i’m not even living in the USA :)
I’l just stay with my Seagate 500 GB. Enough space for me!

Den ser godt nok også lækker ud! – Thinkpads er det eneste der får mig til at tænke på andet end mac’s;) og 1,1-1,4kg er sku ik meget!
Tror sku jeg snupper en "Air" i stedet ;o)
@Jesper: Du bliver aldrig mac’er :)
@Thomas: Har du chekket specs?
Fordi jeg også er kritisk over for dem?:o Unfair!
Hey hey, I don’t make the rules.
