how do i install games without them going to my ssd automatically.

hey i got a sata cable wich said 3gbs/6gbs. i bought a agility 3 with 120 gigs of storage but i got a question abouth its speed. it says that it can hit 550 mb of read and 500 mb write speed can i acomplis this with this cable?

how do you make an SSd as a boot drive?
man, didnt know that SSD last over 50 years. thats is quite good. finally i can get to see my SSD if i buy one last longer when im old. instant seeing about 10-15 harddrives with moving parts die as an example.
I have had HDD’s last way more than 5 years, up to ten or 12, so that’s more marketing BS, however ther’s no question an SSD is still more reliable, way faster, and just moredurable overall.

@motherboardsorg how about 120 Gb. OCZ ssd for games world of warcraft, SCII, and in the future Diablo 3
i see some people are copmlicating about ssd’s and there are not many space ok look
80 GB is good space for ssd’s install your os and all of your games in it ( i sayed install not store ) and store all of your media files in regular hard drive and i reccomend to go with 640 GB caviar black it will do good for storing your data and it is very annähernd .

Hi. I agree with you totally but… for those who don’t know you can install or should i say copy or backup windows in less than 8 min. with all of your settings, installed Programm and Drivers. I don’t know about back-up but i know a way to copy windows XP in 5 min. no bull.
It saves a lot of money and A LOT OF TIME which I LOVE that. Unfortunately i can’t show that in video, neither in WMWare, but i can explain. Who likes the idea i am happy to share.
Man, when SSD’s become voreingestellt, I will buy them, but for now, im going to use regular HDD’s because of price! :)

This test system only has 2GB of DDR2? how long ago was this? because now your test system has 24GB of DDR3 hahaha =P
@RickArter, new modern 2008-2010 SSD’s don’t wear out. At least any time soon. With average 2-5 million cycle life span, at 80MB/sec you could write to one day and night for over 50 years. But it could mess with it in a way that might slow it some. The SSD myth and legends page has more on this.
